Star-map homepage concept A homepage concept for Open Security.
Open Security saw my portfolio and wanted a star map of their own, to fit their Sirius constellation branding, so I made a homepage concept with them: scrolling flies the camera through a 3D star field. It was for internal review and isn’t the live site. The night sky on this site grew out of the same work.
What I set out to learn
I wanted to see whether a scroll-driven 3D story could run in a browser with no libraries at all, made to fit someone else’s brand rather than mine.

A fallback and reduced motion, built in before review
Why it matters No libraries. Without WebGL2 the page still runs from a fallback, and it respects the reduced-motion setting. I built both into the concept before it went to review.
