Why VeryBad.Dog

It started as my name in video games with friends, and it stuck. Most of my friends just call me Dog.

These are my two best friends. Copper is the orange one: a lover, a cuddler, and commander of attention. Lady is fourteen and has every bit of the attitude, personality and life she had as a puppy. She polices the house and makes sure we stay out of trouble.

Copper and Lady

This site started as a place to put fun personal projects. It turned into a record of me learning to work with AI. The dogs are the common thread across my work. When the work got hard or boring, they kept me interested: I could stop and draw a sprite, or try a game-design experiment, and keep going.
